Can someone confirm if an ata133 motherboard and cables will accept an ata100 hdd? I suspect this is so, but am just checking.

As far as I know yes - albeit at your slower speed

I've never come across a situation where there has been an incompatibility issue

Thanks Gentlemen, I am intending to install a Seagate 200gb HDD with 8mb cache, so don't ecpect to suffer speed loss.
