ASUS RT-AC68U and Netsh

Hey everyone,

I have been working with my router for quite some time now. I have Google fiber and a brand new Asus RT-AC68U. I have a 802.11ac wireless card in my desktop PC.

The issue i have having is that i am not reaching the speeds i believe i should be able to. When i use the command > Netsh wlan show interface < it tells me my transmit and receiving speeds are only 400Mbps. I have, with this set up, seen it at 800 on Netsh, but now it is almost always at 400 and i have signigicantly lower speeds.

Why would my transmit/receive speeds fluctuate? What can i do to keep it at 800 and my speeds as high as possible?
