Can I use this router to access my sky broadband service. It only supports PPPoe.

ASUS' own website appears not to detail the specs of this router. This page has some rather weird details, such as "LAN: 1.0 x IEEE1284 (EPP/ECP) - 4 pin USB Type A", suggesting a USB port with EPP/ECP capabilities, which are Parallel Port settings.

It also appears to be a Cable/DSL Router, i.e. with no built-in Modem, and it is my understanding that Sky broadband requires a modem/router that has been customised for their service.

Thank you for your help i was not aware that it did not have a modem, it was given to me by a friend. I think it is now destined for a charity shop.

Thaks again.
