ASUS my cinema-P7131 hybrid. Any vid/aud ppl there

Yep. I have - assuming the PC makers got it right - an ASUS P7131; it has an external slot with 4 ouputs - two different aerial sockets; one tiny input for sensor for remote; and a socket ending with four cables - red, white, yellow, and round multi-pin small socket.

I want to input old video tapes (some of interviews, some science stuff etc) to convert to digital format which may as well be as high quality as possible initially. And I want to input audio tapes, similarly.

Is this much hassle or am I unduly worried...? The instruction book seems missing (and of course might not be readable anyway).

Perhaps someone could explain how simple it is.

It would also be nice to be able to download Youtube etc vidoes; I tried a freeware thing and got sound only...
