Ok HELP please, having bought all the piece for my new pc this weekend i have built it today on the above motherboard upon which i have put 2 WD 120gb HDs SATA ones now ive come to install Winbdows Xp.

When i get to set up all i am getting is "setup did not find any Hard drive installed on your computer" hope you can help,

When you get the first blue setup screen , if you look at the bottom it says you need to hit the F6 key to load extra drivers(in this case for SATA), you will need to have the drivers on a floppy disk as you will be asked for them a little further on.

I need some help cos ive been looking for this and all i can find is controller cards ones but they wont work maybe someone knows where the one im looking for can be found ????

If no floppy disks were supplied , then they will be on the Motherboard CD , "Si3112" is the norm for SATA controller driver .

click here the driver's about half way down the page.

  LastChip 23:26 21 Feb 04

Click the "Drivers" Tab at the top of the page.
