Asus K8V Deluxe AMD64 Mobo or the SE Version ?

Does anyone know the difference between :

Asus K8V Deluxe
Asus K8V SE Deluxe

The Asus UK site only lists a Deluxe model which comes as standard with a WiFi card.

I recall that previously the Deluxe was available both with or without WiFi - maybe some retailers are differentiating between the 'with WiFi' and 'without WiFi' by giving one the SE designation until they clear out the older stock.

But that is a bit of a guess!

Where did you see the two versions?

On one it states 800MHz Hyper transport on the other it states scalable hyper tgransport.

What does scalable hyper transport mean ?

I've spent hours searching for the differences between these two versions via the Asus websites & by searching the net!

There doesn't appear to be any Asus UK Support contact details ?

So far I've read that the 'SE' is possibly the newer version and therefore presumably better?

However I've also read that the SE may be a cut down version !?

And I still don't know what 'scalable hyper transport' is or why I should need it !?

Can anyone help please !?

Asus support info click here

Hypertransport click here

Scalable would suggest the level of hypertransport is variable.
