Asrock K7VT2 and USB sockets problem

Well this new board also has a problem and its the USB sockets that seem to be a bit hit and miss, when I start the PC, my Intellimouse does not work and thus when I get to the log in screen I cannot move the mouse to log in.

But if I move the mouse to another USB socket it then registers and is fine.

I am gettign to think these K7VT2 motherboards from Maplin are being sold off in a package with processor/fan because they are maybe iffy!

Been using this MB for quite a while and have had no problems that couldn't be addressed.
I take it that you have gone into "Devices" and done a check on all the "USB" thingies. Are you sure you have no exclamation marks.
I suggest that you take a look in the "Properties" sections of various devices and note the comments on whether the units are "Working Ok", think about re-loading the drivers from the supplied CD but 'browse' it first.
