Bought a new MB today but a little confused, on the MB there is one ATX 20pin power connector and one ATX 12V 4 pin power connector, should both be connected to the PSU or just either one?

Also would my Tagan 380 PSU be up to the job?

Yes you will need to connect the 20 pin and 4 pin connector. If you don't the computer wont start up.

A lot depends on what other accessories you intend to plug in,also does your PSU have a 4 pin power connector. I've spent a lot of money on PSU in the last 2 years, as I always went on what I wanted it for. The last time was complete PC build so to plan in the future I got a Seasonic 600w. In other words don't skimp and do not buy a cheap one.

I agree with ulrich

Better to get a good PSU for future reference. I bought a 300 watt because it was all I needed at the time. Then I needed to get a 600 watt later on doh.
