Ashampoo PCA cover disc

I'm using XP home edition.
I tried to install Ashampoo CD recording from the PCA cover disc and although the installation seemed ok the “create a data disc” would not function.
I approached Ashampoo yesterday and today they forwarded an update of the drivers required.
However when I try and install these I get a message that Windows considers them to be harmful and has blocked them. I know how to un-block files but I am a big coward with a phobia for harmful items.
Has any one experienced this problem? Are they potentially harmful and at the end is Ashampoo worth the hassle.
Any advice welcome

Ashampoo are a good Company. I have applied for their "Newsletter". If you have any questions about the updates, just ask them.

Hope that helps.
