ASDL Mod/Routers

Some advice please before I bu**er up my working setup.
I am running XP and BB via a single port ASDL "Solwise" router. No problems, everything works OK.
I have been given a "Sparkcom" 4 port modem/router ready for future expansion.
My question is, if I disconnect the present router and instal the new one to prove it works OK, will I be able to revert to the old router without any major hassles ???? Will it be just a matter of replugging things back in as they were. I dont need any grief before going on holiday next week.
Thanks in anticipation.

Yes to both. As routers just plug in rather than install, you'll be fine to play around with it.

And enjoy your holiday!

Many thanks for the reassurance and advice, new router/modem up and running successfully.
Nothing worse than fitting an easy-peasy thing then finding it dont work !
