Application Recovery

I have recently upgraded my computer installing a larger hard disk, but during the re-installation of my applications I found the CD of one of my applications had been damaged and was unable to install. Is there a way of transfering the program from my original drive to my new one? Ideally I would keep both drives but I haven't enough space. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on the application.........Most need to integrate with Windows and have to be installed........There are just a few,(very simple ones and some which were originally written for a Mac) which will run from their own folder.

I imagine that the day when you could exchange a damaged disk for a new one have long gone, but this has to be worth an enquiry.
