Hi, I put a disc in my C drive, never used it before just bought it, not a copy a proper disc, an error message came up straight away:
16 bit windows subsystem:
C/Windows/system32/autoexec.nt
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Window Applications
Choose close to terminate.
Can anyone help

There are generally two main causes for this,
1/ the software is too old to run on XP.
2/ you have spyware on your computer.
Can you see if it will run on another computer, if it does download Spybot S & D and run a scan and delete anything it finds.
If it will not run on another XP machine it is probably too old.
