AOL8/Windows XP Screen Freeze

  ivesy 19:04 04 Jan 04

I have a P4 2.6 PC running Windows XP. I have a Broadband connection with AOL. From time to time the screen just seems to freeze for no apparant reason. The only way around it is to press CTRL ALT DELETE. AOL then asks fi I want to disconnect if I say STAY ONLINE everything goes back to normal! I've updated the modem driver and uninstalled AOL the n reinstalled but it still happens any ideas? would be appreciated.

Sorry for delay. I got the drivers from AOL. I have a 56k modem built into the PC but I've never used it.
