AOL & wireless networking

Has anyone tried to use AOL 8.0 on a wireless network where the server PC (using XP Home & AOL 8.0) accesses the internet via dial-up, and is connected to the client PC (also XP Home) wirelessly?

I want to be able to be at the client PC and dial up AOL using the modem on the server (when it is off line) and I have no idea how to set this up.

I talked to the AOL help desk who could/would not help. They said that AOL does not support wireless networking, but then conceded that it could be done by adjusting the proxy server settings. I thought that these were automatic in XP? AOL suggested that I contacted my hardware supplier and my administrator, but I am both those persons (this network is at home), & I know I don't know the answer!

All help appreciated

Thanks Philip
