Aol and WAOL page fault.......

  AudioVic' 05:28 11 Mar 03

With AOL 7, I keep getting the error:

WAOL has caused an invalid page fault in User.exe.

It usually happens on signing out from aol.

I phoned their helpline and was told to uninstall the aol adapter software.

This completely screwed up my system.

Any like problems out there?

Any suggestions?

Typing " WAOL has caused an invalid page fault " into Google turns up lots of possible answers. The above is just one of them. : }

I'll give it a try!

I'll let you know the outcome.

This is a good site for AOL users. click here

Chap really knows his AOL stuff and if you cannot find an answer to a problem on the site you can email him. His name is Mark and he's a "Top Man" in my book.
