AOL users only.....

Today, when online shopping, we received an AOL screen message saying:

"This area of AOL is no longer available"

We ignored it and the transaction went through, but has anyone else experienced this?

We've used AOL for nearly 10 years and not seen that message before, and no idea what it's supposed to mean!

Had it on Ebay today for the first time ever.
Pressed the back arrow and the page displayed ok. No ill effects.
Perhaps they have been playing with their servers or something?

Very quick response from AOL:

"...thanks for your email regarding the issue you're experiencing with that message saying "This area of AOL is not available". I do apologise for this inconvenience. This problem has been reported to us within the last 24 hours, and we already have a team endeavouring to get that problem fixed. Normally issues like this are rectified within 24 hours, however we have no estimated time of fix at this moment in time. All members are experiencing this issue at present, but there's no need to change any settings at your end, since it's an AOL Server issue."
