Looking for advice.
Just dragged myself into the real world and got a Laptop running XP instead of my old Win 95 based desktop system.
I use AOL as my net provider on old PC and want to keep AOL as have a few websites running from my screen names which dont want to loose.
I was also looking to go onto NTL broadband using the laptop which is WiFi enabled.
Is it poss to use NTL boradband via the WiFi while also using AOL via the laptops 56k modem-not at same time ofcourse but wondered if they would clash.
Any feedback would be good.
Thanks

All that would happen is, inevitably once you had broadband, you would be likely to use this as your primary ISP.

When you wanted to use AOL dial up, just log off NTL and use your AOL connection to visit your web site or whatever.

In fact, I have that very setup here, as I use my computer (very occasionally) as a FAX. So I have both an ADSL modem and a 56K fitted to the same machine.
