now that BT is finally upgrading the local exchange for broadband i have this query.
I am a 2 pc household, the 1st ( my girlfriends )currently on aol anytime & the 2nd ( mine )on bt anytime. Now i don't like the aol internet window system in fact i hate it cos for me the net is for email n surfing, however my girlfriend has aol at the minute but for her it's about friends on aol & the quiz rooms.
so my question is: if i set up a network & her pc is the master with the aol software installed , do i need the software on mine for me to access the web via the network? i know i can still us IE even with the AOL installed , but i just don't want it on me pooter.
