Any good, as I have been using AVG 7.5 antivirus for a while now but after my computer picked up the MBS bill trojan AVG would not update so i deleted it and downloaded AOL Active virus shield updated it ran a full scan and it found three infected files all of which i deleted and the computer now seems fine. Fingers crossed.
My question is do many users of this forum use this AOL programme and it is any good compared to the other free antivirus programmes.

I used it for several months (until I restored my OS, which had AVG) and would have no qualms about using it again.
It seems to be very light on system resources, is easy to use and very well behaved.

It is actually Kapersky antivirus, rebadged and with a few features removed, which means it should have a good detection rate, but no antivirus will catch everything.

If I had problems with AVG, I would happily install AOL antivirus again, in preference to Avast, or Antivir (which used to be my favorite, before they messed around with it).
