AOL 9.0 Wireless Networking

I am about to, for the first time, wirelessly network AOL 9.0 for a friend using a Linksys WIreless-G ADSL Gateway. Firstly, do I need to put AOL software on all PC's or will they work using normal Internet Explorer?

Secondly, any special settings for this router I should bear in mind or are the ones in the box ok?

Any help would be great

AOL don't support this router.

pk46, are you sure it doesn't support this router? How do you know?

AOL only officially supports certain routers

But you should be able to set up a network with any modem router,as many have already managed to do.
I'm going to try and set one up with a belkin router
this weekend,for a friend.

Don't forget, you don't "need" to install AOL on every computer as you can use the web version of AOL to access your account from aol . com and select e-mail, enter screenname and password and you are in.
Some restrictions on concurrency depending on the service you have - but didn't seem to apply to different machines just using a web browser before I upgraded
