I found this site offering lots of free media processing tools. Anyone had any experience of them?

According to WOT user comments:

"Site contains Spyware or adware in the downloads"

"Their software silently installs dealio toolbar"

To be fair - I think best to take the name of any software you might be wanting and then do a google for it for more info. A lot of free software installs a toolbar unless you 'opt out' during the install.

I did actually google them and couldn't see any warnings in the first few references, hence my query. Anyway, thanks for warnings, will avoid!

I downloaded this from PCA`s download section in portable apps, hence it is on a stick where i place my toolbox.

Some where flagged by Norton more because of their function, similarity with a virus, than being a virus for real as the article states.

Nirsoft are respected for the tools and being virus free.

So thanks to PCA and Nirsoft.
