I have got minibug which I believe is adware and part of weather bug on my computer. And it comes courtesy of latest version of AOL messenger

I have tried adaware and spybot and none of the advice that gogle finds appears to work to get rid

Has anyone any advice on best way to get rid.

Thank you spuds and sidecar sid

Unfortunately I have tried all the links that you point to.

Pest control has a heading for the pest but its sofware does not even find it in spite of the fact that it has a main heading for it in its software blurb.

the file is in a folder named weatherbug.

I can locate it in the registry in 4 seperate lines.

I am uncertain of the impact if I just delete them

I have sorted it out and got rid

I could not get this solution
regsvr32 /u %dir%/minibugtransporter.dll to work
and reading some other forums neither could others

In the end I downloaded the full version of Weatherbug, (My version had no facility to uninstall and came courtesy of AOL Messenger)

I was then able to uninstall and finally clean up the remainder from the registry.
