Any suggestions for a good free Firewall?

Hi folks
Am using an old version of Sygate (5.6) and since it is now a part of Symantec and not updates would like to look for something new.
Any suggestions?

What OS are you using?

Thanks, forgot that.
XP Home SP3.
AVG + regular scans with Spybot and AdAware but systemn feels slow my notebook running the same config caught 8 trojans last week so am looking at making some changes.

best bet would be to download update this and run here

Kerio Firewall is pretty good. You get the full version for a month and if you dont want to pay for it it reverts to the free version.
you get no pop ups with it asking if you want to allow or deny programs. But if you don't mind that Comodo and Zone Alarm are about the best of the rest.

I should have said You want the free version of Malwarebytes.

Interesting that the ZA screenshots on your link haven't looked like that for over a year.

I've always used ZoneAlarm with all my PCs over many years, and been very happy with it.

G'day mate, I don't use even though I recommend it, so I am not sure what it looks like now.
I think if Paul2008 follows my link through to download the version will be OK or am I wrong?
