Just come acroos odd thing. When opening an Excel spreadsheet ( Office XP 2002 ), the file opens twice , Sheet (1) & sheet (2). Cannot understand why. Any ideas ?

Do you mean that it shows as Book1.xls:1 and Book1.xls:2 ?

If so, click the grey X just under the red X (top right) then save the file.

Thanks VoG..Yes, the file is opened twice but there is no sign of the x (grey or red ) that you mention, unless I am missing it.
