Hi people.

Does anyone know of any free anti-virus software that will run on Server 2003.

I have tried Norton 2004 and PC-Cillin.

Thanks, James

What is the server being used for?

I'm not aware of any free anti virus software for server, indeed all the ones I'm aware of :-avast, AVG, Antivir and BitDefender are very specific in the terms of the free license, one copy only for non profit home use. In the cases where they do server style protection, they expect payment.

the server is being used as a domain controller, file server and a print server.

If I share the whole drive on the server would it be possible to scan it from one of the clients logged on locally and not into the domain?

Thanks, James
