Hi all, my paid for Norton 2004 anti virus software will soon be up for renewal. Is there anything better or is there freeware just as good?
Thanks in advance

NAV is as good as you can get, you can get free AV programs but wether they are as good will depend on how many fvirus infections you get. Try click here= ....T

NAV isn't worth the disk it's pressed on IMO...

For good, free Anti-virus try AVG click here or Avast click here

Howver, if you really feel the need to pay for AV software, my recommendation is Kaspersky click here

Why pay out good useful money when it is all available for free in AVG. But if you wish to pay do so, but just remember that any AV is only as good as your last update. AVG updates are quick to get and regular. Sometimes 2 per day, sometimes 4 per week. Also if you are changing from one av to another dont miss out on uninstalling your old av first. It can cause trouble having 2 AV programs on the same machine.
