Anoying standby mode

I am using Windows XP Home Edition.

Under START > CONTROL PANEL > PERFORMANCE & MAINTENANCE > POWER OPTIONS I have set my monitor to go into standby mode after 1 hour, the other settings are set to "NEVER".

However, after about 3 minutes of not touching the mouse, the monitor goes blank and starts displaying a moving XP logo. If I then move the mouse I get the XP sound and what in effect is a login screen is displayed. I then have to click on my name to get back to the screen I left.

Can anyone tell me how to turn this off.

Check your screensaver settings. I think there is a setting that says something like on resume password protect.
