If I didn't know any better, it looks like a variation on the infamous Nigerian multi-million Dollar scams.

and to be honest, anyone who seriously thought that a lottery would pay out $1.5 million to them when they hadn't even bought a ticket would have to be faintly loopy.

  john-232317 20:09 03 Mar 05

Same sort of thing here in Spain on El Gordo lottery, very nice of them to buy the tickets for you though..... ;-)

There are many many of these scams circulating in the uk also by post from many foreign countries make sure you bin them especially if they ask for a fee to cover administration costs.

  Salinger 20:35 03 Mar 05

The India.com website makes interesting reading, especially the Sign Up TOS.

  Audeal 20:52 03 Mar 05

They are not asking for any money, are they? or did I miss read this. If not, then I can't see the point of this scam.

  Salinger 21:16 03 Mar 05

They will and they do, it aint charity!

  Audeal 21:49 03 Mar 05

Salinger. Nor am I so I would bin it. Besides, I would never have opened it in the first place.
