Another .cpy problem

  scaleman 13:47 19 May 04

Just run a full check with my latest update of AVG and found 4 virus files of the ".CPY" type stored in my C:\_Restore directory.

Despite all efforts I cannot seem to delete or isolate these files they all being "in use" or so I am informed.

Anybody have any ideas how to deal with these?

They are in your system restore directory. You will have to turn off system restore (you will loose all your restore points) start up in safe mode and delete them. Dont forget to turn system restore back on when youve finished.

Have you tried starting the computer in safe mode and deleting them from there?
