Annoying message

For some reason I am now getting the same question popping up repeatedly. "A script is accessing some software (an Active X control)on this page which has been marked safe for scripting. Do you want to allow this?"
Any one got any ideas as to how to get rid of this.
Thanks to all who replied helping with my previous problem with connecting to the internet. I eventually, found on a disc, a fix - Winsockxpfix - which got me connected. Apparently it fixes damage caused to registry settings that prevent your computer connecting to the Internet when certain adware/spyware programs are removed. Only problem is I now have to apply this fix and reboot each time I open. Anyone else used this?

Hi, What Active x is trying to connect?

In IE7
Tools> manage add ons> enable or disable add ons

select show active x controls

Click on the active x you want to disable and at the bottom you can enable or disable or even delete,

Hope I'm not preaching to the converted but have you tried typing winsockxpfix into your browser? Might be worth your while.
