Amstrad word processor files

I have a .TXT file on a floppy disc produced by an Amstrad word processor. The file shows as a .TXT file in "my computer" on the "a" drive however notepad, word, etc does not understand this file and will not open it. Does anyone know how to read these files? Is there a quick download that will do the job?? or should something on the PC (XP) be able to manage it anyway?? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
