I have a Phillips DVD recorder attached to my tv and a DVD writer in my computer. Does anyone know of free/cheap software that will allow me to amend videos recorded on TV (deleting bits at the beginning or end; adverts; etc)

Thanks Surfmonkey. Do I need Nerovision? I have NEro 6.6.0.3 but can't see how to cut bits out of a video.

Yes you need Nero Vision Express. If you don't have it installed you can download Package 2 from click here and while you're at it you can get Package 1 to update your Nero Burning Rom.

Thanks Eric 10. I have downloaded as suggested. I just need to work out how to operate Nero Vision! Lots of play time I think.
