AMD XP CPU upgrade - max speed ?

I have an Asus A7V266-E with an AMD XP1600+ CPU. I have seen the XP's go up to 2600 for FSB 266, but over 3000 for FSB 333 or even 400.
Does this mean the fastest CPU I can get is an XP 2600+ (assuming they don't make any faster ones in the near future) ??

According to click here (The people who make it)

Your motherboard can take the Athlon XP 2600+(266 MHz FSB) but you need the BIOS since 1012 to support this CPU.

You will have to cut and paste it together and take the decimal out at the start
