hey all,

i currently have a xp 2000+ cpu, would it be worth buying the 3200+? at the moment i have a gainward 1100 golden sample with 640mb of ram. gaming wise would i see an improvement?

well the xp2000 runs about 1.6Ghz and the 3200
about 2.2 ghz so you may notice some difference depending what you use the PC for. Also i don't know your mobo so make sure before buying it supports the higher speeds, also remember that upgrading the CPU alone doesn't increase the performance dramatically
the ram speed and g/card speed also have to be wrote in the equation,as does the hard drive access times.

thanks, yeah my mobo is asus a7v880 i've checked and it accepts cpu speeds up to 3200.
