Mine is a Palomino XP, the power varies with work being done i.e. More work more power used

  woodchip 19:27 18 Aug 03

I do believe the Palomino created to challenge Intel speed step for laptops

  Rayuk 19:39 18 Aug 03

AMD PowerNow technology=Intel Speedstep

speed for speed there is no difference and the TBred offers no perfomance enhancments, the only difference is the Palomino is an 18u core and the TBred is a 13u core hence the TBred can run on a lower Vcore and run 2 or 3C cooler.
