Go into the bios and change the cpu setting from 100 to 133

Your cpu should run at 1.46 ghz. That is 133bus speed times 11 multiplier. This gives you 133mhz X 11 = 1.463 gig.

At present you seem to be running at the default 100mhz bus speed. This would give you 100mhz X 11 = 1.1ghz.

It seems that the cpu adjustment is in the bios, from the links below. Enter the bios and change the fsb from 100 to 133. Save changes and exit. This will get your cpu up to it's rated speed.

Also see pg.61/73 in your manual.

Yes, I can confirm the above answers, as I have the same M/Board, with 1800xp. Settings are changed from the BIOS, Set to 133 and exit with save option, reboot and all should be fine. J.
