Am I okay to delete everything in .....

C:\Windows\Temp folder. There is a mass of 500MB of stuff in there. So is it okay to go? Dont wanna delete any necessary files. Thanks

Windows is supposed to clean up all temp files when you shut down the computer. But it is not very good at it. yes, you can delete everything in the temp folder that is older than the day you are on. Sort the files into date order and delete all up to the current day.

I've emptied it many times and never had any problems. Just leave the files in your re-cycle bin for a few days if you're not sure and then you've got the option to restore if anything goes wrong.
