Am I about to crash??

  gudda96 18:26 15 May 03

I am starting to freeze a lot, in particular when R/C
And doing CAD does not always fix it so I have to re-start.

I have just uninstalled NAV and the order I did it was

Add/remove Norton
Start/prog, it had already removed itself.
Regseeker/search for NAV/delete
Start/find files/Norton/delete

Add/remove Symantec/
Start/find files/Symantec/delete
Regseeker/search for Symantec/delete

Tried Belarc and no sign so hopefully I have done it right and my freezing is nothing to do with NAV. I also do a daily disk clean/scan disk/empty e-mails/cookie wall. I do not have any graphics/videos/music on hard drive so does anyone have any idea what it could be and is this a warning of a crash.

Would welcome any advice please, and if it helps, before sending this, I have done R/C my computer/properties/performance/88%
And I am using W98

Have you added any new devices. IE USB stuff. We had problems like this and found our power supply wasn't up to it.

It is probable that you still have a few fragments of Norton in your system. See click here for comprehensive removal instructions. Select your version of Norton, and follow the instructions very carefully.
