After Facebook Hack I E 8 closes down

  popgeoff 11:07 09 Nov 10

Recently conned into opening a message purporting to have come from a friend which caused my laptop to send the same thing to friends.. Changed FB password; did a Webroot scan which found nothing;downloaded Malwarebytes and did a full scan. This found 2 trojans and quarantined. Restarted laptop. Opened IE 8 which promptly closes "to protect my computer"mentioning Data Execution Prevention. Does this mean laptop still infected? Google Chrome works fine.
Any help much appreciated.

Run the Fix it on this.

It says not for W/7 if you use that.
If you run it you may have to enable a few of your add-ons again and the same in Spywareblaster if you use that.
