Hi, I ran CCleaner on my laptop to try to speed things up a bit and get rid off redundant stuff, but when I went to play solitaire and free cell yesterday the startup shortcut box for "Games" is completely empty and I cannot find the .exe files on the hard drive to re-create the shortcuts.
Any ideas how I can get them back???

Control Panel > Add or Remove programs > Add/Remove Windows Components on the left hand side. Games are included in 'Accessories and Utilities'.

does cccleaner have a restore to previous settings button or something like it?

Only if ran under Issues and the backup created.

Managed to locate the files and reinstall shortcuts to start menu. Still don't know why CCleaner removed them and I will still continue to use it as it's a good program - never had any problems on my other computers. Anyway, thanks for your imput.
