started this on another thread click here
Followed the advice and got the instructions from symantec, click here

but could not get past the first step as I got a window with the following:

LoadLibrary("C:Program Files\2Search\plugin.dll) The specified module could not be found
Any ideas?

Sorry my typing and punctuation is awful and I've just realised when you type in thia little box its not how its going to be displayed.
The 3rd thing is plugin.dll not pugin.dll, but you all probably guessed that!

have tried to follow instructions on the link above but the I get:

The file path specified could not be found.

I think I must be doing something wrong.. but I don't know what!

maybe I should run Hijackthis and post the log here for help and get rid of that way???

I see that your enquiry on the malware removal forum has gone unanswered.

I've made some enquiries and it seems that this may be because you posted your log in 5 'chunks'. On that forum they look for zero replies to start the ball rolling and it appears that you have been overlooked. Hopefully you will get a response soon.

For future reference, you can submit an entire HJT log in one post on that forum - there is no 800 word limit like there is here. That is one of the reasons that we now recommend click here forHJT logs.

In fact, you've now received a reply from one of the best malware fixers in the world!
