I have just scanned my pc with Norton Antivirus 2005 and it spotted 4 adware (Adware.NDotNet) threats but there are no infected files.

I cannot remove these files. Can somebody help please? I hope I dont have to do a clean format of the hard drive

Thanks

Almost forgot the adware files are as follows:

NDNunistall7_22.exe
newdotnet7 22.dll
NNWDAC638.EXE
unistall7 22.exe

These are of the Adware.NDotNet files types

Thanks

I have Spyware Blaster. I was told that it was a free download worth installing.

"I have Spyware Blaster. I was told that it was a free download worth installing."

True.

But what anti-spyware scans have you done?

if spyware blaster is all you have i would suggest getting a few more on board.

All I have done is used Norton Antivirus 2005 to scan My Computer. I thought that Spyware blaster detects the adware threat and blocks it.
Maybe I dont know how to use Spyware Blaster.

"All I have done is used Norton Antivirus 2005 to scan My Computer"

Norton Anti-virus is, as the name suggests, anti-virus software NOT anti-malware software.

Yes, SpywareBlaster will stop a lot of malware, but only those which form part of its definitions.

You should also have anti-malware program/s with which you can manually scan for malware.

Try one or all of those I have already provided links to.
