Please can anybody advise me about VRDB in Avast, I am new to this one and not too techie, should I run it or disable it then leave it alone? I never go to risky sites and have never had a virus (touch wood) I have just got rid of AVG and went for this one because many on here have recommended it. Many thanks for any replies I may get.

Hi..If you right click on the Avast Icon in the start up task bar you can see VRDB.Again expand this link and you should see "What is VRDB" and it will give you a description of the cover it provides.I set mine to run when the computer is idle.I have had Avast on my computers for over five years and cannot speak too highly of it.
