Two Asus top notch MB's, one with 256 0f DDR 2100.
The other has 256 DDR 4000 "Ballistix", all from Crucial.

Nothing to choose between the two PC'c, speeds the same etc so, what should I expect ?

Some more information would be usefull!

If what you are asking is "should the machine with PC4000 be faster than the one with PC2100?" then we need to know what processor in each pc and other specs for each.

Some general points...if they are running Windows XP then 256MB of ram memory is barely adequate and both machines will be hampered by that.At least 512MB or better still 1GB is needed in a modern high performance machine.Secondly PC4000 is meant to run at a FSB speed of 250MHZ ...is it?
