Advice please re Front Page extensions

I would appreciate some pointers as I am completely out of my depth!

A club I belong to had a website built many years ago by a member using Frontpage. When he left the club, I took over managing the website which has caused me no problems for about 11 years - till last week.

The web host has now removed frontpage extensions for security reasons as Microsoft stopped support in 2006. Obviously this means I can no longer update the site as I have been doing. The host company gave me ftp settings but I can only do basic text editing.

What are my options? Do I have any other than building a new site?

The best way forward is certainly to rebuild your site using different software. You can import the existing site into whichever application you choose, so the job needn't be as daunting as you might think.

There are many design applications out there; you may find this helpful to get you started.

I'm sorry you had to wait so long for a response, by the way.
