What about this Medion PC click here+(MD7330)/10013733A1?category=multimedia_pc_20. It has an Intel i5 (quad) core processor, 4Gb of RAM and a dedicated grphics card. Better still it costs £475.

I bought a Medion PC from Tesco for £279 earlier in the year as a hot back-up, and have been pleasantly surprised by it. The only downside has been what is probably the downside with all very small cases, which is that it's a pain to upgrade - e.g. add a second optical drive. Other than that, excellent value.

Hi and thanks for the suggestions, the acer one i was looking at can be upgraded with more RAM and has a 22" monitor as well,so i would have the cost of a monitor to add to the medion one,and i cant see in the specs if the RAM can be upgraded the one difference im not sure about is the medion is 32 bit and the acer is 64 bit, not sure what this means ,the pc i have now is 32 bit
