Advent Recovery to factory settings

I'm selling an old Advent desktop computer XP media centre and want to set it back to factory settings. I never received any disks so I'm assuming the recovery settings are contained on a partition on the HDD. the product key is on the computer case. I cannot see anywhere in windows to do this, and I have tried during boot F10 F11 ctrl F10 ctrl F11 F8 and ctrl F8 but nothing appears to work. I can get the option screen but the only options are last good config, safe mode, safe mode with networking etc, but nothing for factory settings. Anyone any ideas?

I believe you may require a "Recovery CD" to invoke the restore feature. Sometimes these were supplied, sometimes not. Have a look click here to see if anything will help, if not you may have to contact Advent Support.

Another option would be to use another Windows XP installation disk, perhaps borrowed from a friend, and install using the product key on the case.
