Advance Uninstaller

  Spr 10:04 06 Feb 08

I am using Windows XP 7 running Advance Uninstaller 8 I notice there are a number of duplicated programs

i.e. Security update for Windows Internet Explorer 7 (KB93143). KB933566 & a few more. Microsoft Net Framework 1.1, 2.0 & Hotfix

I assume that I can safely delete some of these, Retain the latest Upgrade only

I think you have to keep all up-dates.Would it not be great if there were two add remove programs. One for the programs that you add on.And a separate one just for Microsoft and their updates. At the moment mine is full up with Microsoft updates and it makes it a bit awkward just scrolling through it.

you can untick the 'show updates' box to see just the non MS stuff

Yes but it is still full of Microsoft and windows programs. It was just a thought. But we are getting away from Spr's problem.I was always told to keep all my updates and not to delete them.I don't know what others do.
