ADSL wired router and AirPort on PC

Here's a thing. I have a friend who has an ADSL modem/router which he had wired to his PC (Windows PRo SP2). His daughter has a Mac notebook. He got himself a (Belkin) wireless card for the PC, connected the LAN cable from the router to an AirPort, his idea being to make the router wireless so to speak by connecting it to the Airport. Now the Mac sees the AirPort network and so does the wireless card. However the PC cannot access the internet now. How to configure things so that the router assigns DHCP addresses properly and connects to the internet?
