My exchange has just been converted and I am 3.76k away using the BT test. I have read 3.5k and also 5.5k distances as being viable. Can anyone give me information on differences in viability and - all other tests being OK - whether they would continue with registering.

My understanding is that if you live within 3.5km then you will have ADSL and if its over but no more than 5.5k then they give you RDSL which the only difference is that the upload speeds will be effected.
I have a friend who lives about 4.3k away from the exchange and they have a very quick connection
